Gulf Coast Collection Bureau Inc. has been rightly hailed as an important pro-defense decision under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Mais reversed one of the most pro-plaintiff district court interpretations of the TCPA and in doing so brought a large measure of common sense to the TCPA.
