Investor Says It Had No Part In RICO Solar Panel Scheme

A Florida investment company denies having connections to a solar panel seller that Michigan residents accuse of duping customers into buying defective panels through an interstate scheme, telling a federal court Wednesday it was merely a passive investor that cannot be held liable for treble damages under the RICO Act.
