Ch. 11 Fee Cases Remanded After 'Very Practical' Decision
Now that the U.S. Supreme Court has decided refunds aren't owed to debtors who overpaid the U.S. Trustee's Office under a previous fee structure, it sent three similar cases that were pending before it back to the lower courts to give them a crack at applying the ruling.

Justices Urged To Block Return Of Ch. 11 Debtor's Refund
A plant nursery that was overcharged by roughly $375,000 to fund the U.S. Trustee Program during its bankruptcy case asked the U.S. Supreme Court to toss a challenge by the Office of the U.S. Trustee to the refund the debtor was awarded, saying repayment is "the proper remedy."

Trustee Asks High Court To Wait On Petition For Fee Remedy
The Office of the U.S. Trustee asked the U.S. Supreme Court Monday to hold off on its petition for certiorari until other cases seeking rulings on how to address trustee fee overpayments under an overturned fee schedule can be adjudicated, saying it hopes to achieve a nationwide remedy to the issue.
