Insurers Blast Syracuse Diocese Ch. 11 Plan
Interstate Fire & Casualty Co., joined by a number of other insurance carriers, has objected to the Chapter 11 plan disclosure statement of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse, New York, saying that the plan's treatment of insurance policies abrogated the insurers' rights and that the disclosure contained inadequate information.

US Trustee Takes Aim At Syracuse Diocese Ch. 11 Releases
The U.S. Trustee's Office objected Tuesday to the Chapter 11 plan disclosure statement of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse, New York, arguing the plan includes impermissible nonconsensual third-party releases that are too broad and that the document omits key information needed for creditors to cast their ballots.

Judge Orders Discovery In Syracuse Diocese Victim-Info Leak
A New York bankruptcy judge Thursday ordered an insurer for the bankrupt Diocese of Syracuse to turn over discovery to the diocese's unsecured creditors to investigate the unauthorized transmission of over 100 abuse survivors' confidential information to a third party.
