A fire occurred in Duku’s apartment in Brampton wherein he was the sole resident and was seen entering and exiting the apartment multiple times during the fire’s occurrence. He was also seen in the surveillance waving a lit blue barbeque lighter inside the elevator. The Brampton Fire Department responded to an active fire in the living room of Duku's apartment, where they found a lawn chair on fire. The firefighters did not see anyone inside the apartment when they arrived.
