A Missouri federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a putative shareholder class action against medical device maker Stereotaxis Inc. and some of its officers over optimistic statements and sales projections concerning its flagship cardiovascular catheter control device, ruling the Stereotaxis statements had been forward-looking and nonactionable.

Stereotaxis Inc. was hit with a putative shareholder class action in Missouri on Friday claiming the medical device maker hid problems with its flagship cardiology treatment systems, resulting in nearly $10 million in losses and the resignation of its chief financial officer.
