An Oregon federal magistrate judge recommended against federal district court tossing the bid of an affiliate of electronic medical records giant Cerner Corp. to enforce a $63 million award over an allegedly unpaid government contract, ruling Monday that it made enough of a case that a United Arab Emirates citizen was bound to arbitration.

The United Arab Emirates affiliate of electronic medical records giant Cerner Corp. asked a D.C. federal court Wednesday to confirm a $63 million arbitral award against an Abu Dhabi information technology firm and its majority owner after they allegedly failed to pay Cerner for work on a major government contract.
