A federal bankruptcy court judge on Tuesday granted a creditor's motion to transfer the bankruptcy proceedings of a New Orleans hospital from Delaware to the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Louisiana's health agency joined with the largest unsecured creditor of a bankrupt hospital located north of New Orleans on Friday in a call for the transfer of the case from Delaware to a home state court, with regulators saying they need better access while supervising the facility's planned shutdown.
