UBS told the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday that the Second Circuit correctly overturned a nearly $1 million award granted to an ex-employee in his wrongful termination suit, saying his petition fails to actually challenge an appellate panel's ruling and addresses only one of the two bases for the decision.
