Children's Hospital Colorado is asking a federal judge to toss parts of a U.S. Department of Defense rule for reimbursing children's hospitals, alleging in a lawsuit that the agency unlawfully created a whole new payment model that could cut the system's health reimbursements by $17 million a year.
