The parents of a toddler who suffered a fatal fall from a Hyatt Hotel balcony while on vacation in Mexico have sued the company in California federal court for wrongful death, saying their nearly 2-year-old son would not have died if the hotel had placed a safety glass panel in a gap in the balcony.
