U.S. News & World Report LP hit San Francisco's city attorney with a lawsuit in California federal court Tuesday, accusing his office of issuing overly burdensome, invasive and "flatly unconstitutional" subpoenas into the publisher's ranking methodology for its annual "Best Hospitals" list merely because he allegedly disagrees with its editorial viewpoint.
