Insurer Dodges Counterclaim In TCPA Coverage Row
A Missouri federal judge on Wednesday dismissed St. Louis Heart Center Inc.'s counterclaim that Evanston Insurance Co. must cover Harris Medical Associations LLC in an underlying junk fax class action, saying St. Louis Heart failed to show it was a party to or beneficiary of Evanston's policy and thus lacked standing.

Evanston Wants Off Hook For Staffing Co.'s Junk Fax Row
Evanston Insurance Co. sued health care staffing firm Harris Medical Associates LLC in Missouri federal court Thursday, asking a court to declare that it does not have to defend or indemnify Harris in an underlying putative class action accusing it of sending unsolicited fax advertisements.
