Changing Cert. Standards Kill Title Insurance Class
A Pennsylvania federal judge on Thursday decertified a class of customers accusing Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Co. of overcharging them after they refinanced their homes, saying that changes in class action and consumer protection case law in the six years since certification justify the move.
