    Hartford Escapes Insurance Suit Over Embezzlement Claims

    A South Carolina federal judge on Wednesday tossed a lawsuit brought by Advanced Pain Therapies LLC against Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. for allegedly refusing to pay insurance benefits in connection with losses from Advanced Pain's office manager's embezzled funds, saying the plaintiff failed to state a claim.
