Imerys Seeks Ch. 11 Mediator After Plan Process Stalls
Imerys Talc America asked a Delaware bankruptcy judge to appoint a mediator in its Chapter 11 case Tuesday, saying mediation would help facilitate settlement talks among the debtor, its insurers and other parties to the case at a time when its plan process has hit a speed bump.

A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Wednesday issued an order tossing out nearly 16,000 votes cast by talc injury claimants on Imerys Talc America's Chapter 11 plan, saying the law firm that submitted them had done nothing to check if the claimants had a right to vote.
