Insurer Only Liable For Portion Of Steel Co.'s Defense Costs
HDI Global Insurance Co. is only on the hook for a portion of the costs that a steel company incurred in defending an underlying injury suit, a Louisiana federal judge said Wednesday, finding that the insurer is not responsible for costs that arose before it agreed to defend the additional insured.
