5th Circ. Says Insurer Should Cover Fraudulent Transfer
An insurer is on the hook for covering roughly $250,000 that a title company employee mistakenly sent to a fraudster posing as a lender's employee, the Fifth Circuit said, agreeing with a Texas federal judge that coverage was triggered under a funds transfer fraud endorsement.
