8th Circ. Says Insurance Broker Off Hook In Fire Dispute
An insurance broker accused of negligence while procuring insurance for a bar is not liable for damages after the bar caught fire and was denied coverage, the Eighth Circuit said, saying a policy exclusion would have barred coverage regardless of any negligence from the broker.
