'Ponzi Scheme' Applies To DBSI Case, Prosecutors Say

The United States asked an Idaho federal judge on Monday to deny a bid by the former top brass of bankrupt real estate firm DBSI Inc. to exclude all claims the firm was a "Ponzi scheme" from a case accusing them of defrauding investors, arguing the company's alleged Ponzi scheme was in fact at the heart of the investor fraud.
