New York securities law boutique Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP has slammed a group of irate investors' claims that it wrongly turned over more than $1 million in escrowed funds to a Texas apartment complex developer, saying dismissal is warranted because it followed the terms of the deal.

A group of disgruntled investors say New York securities boutique Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP improperly turned over $1 million in escrowed funds to a developer they claim duped them into investing in a San Antonio apartment complex project it had no intention of pursuing, according to a complaint filed in Texas Thursday.
