In a decision written by U.S. Circuit Judge Pauline Newman, the Federal Circuit on Wednesday handed a win to Meta by affirming a lower court's finding that claims in a patent for technology that could recommend web pages to users based on their browsing habits were invalid under the U.S. Supreme Court's Alice decision.
