The U.S. Supreme Court said Monday it won't consider whether a class action accusing investment bank Stifel Nicolaus & Co. of misleading investors on $160 million worth of housing bonds should be remanded to Missouri state court under the federal Class Action Fairness Act's securities exception.

Two investors pushed the U.S. Supreme Court to remand their putative class action against brokerage and investment bank Stifel Nicolaus & Company Inc., which is accused of not providing enough information about more than $160 million worth of bonds meant for the acquisition and rehabilitation of Chicago housing projects.
