The Internal Revenue Service will hold virtual meetings of the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel's Toll-Free Phone Line Project Committee and Tax Notices and Correspondence Project Committee in April, the agency announced Tuesday in light of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Toll-Free Phone Line Project Committee teleconference will take place at 11 a.m. Eastern on April 8, and the Tax Notices and Correspondence Project Committee virtual meeting is scheduled for the same day at 1 p.m. Eastern, according to IRS notices.

The IRS moved other meetings of the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel online in response to the virus, which causes the respiratory disease COVID-19.
