A New York federal judge struck down an objection to a $176,000 attorneys' fees award in a suit brought by the victims and families of those killed in the Sept. 11 attacks against a group the government says provided "financial and material support to al Qaeda," ruling Friday the defendant's own discovery conduct prompted the award.
