7th Circ. Axes Same-Sex Marriage Bans In Ind., Wisc.
The Seventh Circuit on Thursday affirmed the invalidation of Indiana and Wisconsin's bans on same-sex marriage in a decision written by Circuit Judge Richard Posner, finding the states had provided implausible grounds for their "discriminatory policies."

Target, Pfizer, Others Voice Support For Gay Marriage
Target Corp., Pfizer Inc., Amazon.com Inc. and a number of other big-name companies in the hospitality, food and technology industries told the Seventh Circuit on Tuesday that same-sex marriage bans, like those in Wisconsin and Indiana, have forced them to implement employment policies "inconsistent" with maintaining a diverse workforce.
