Ex-Telecom Head Asks 1st Circ. For IRS Evidentiary Hearing
The former head of defunct telecommunications company Global NAPs Inc. urged the First Circuit on Monday to reverse a lower court order upholding an IRS summons in his tax case, saying he should have received an evidentiary hearing in line with U.S. Supreme Court precedent.
