Wis. Man Asks 7th Circ. For Tax Break From Ex-Wife's Theft
A Wisconsin military veteran urged the Seventh Circuit on Tuesday to relieve him of tax burdens stemming from his ex-wife's embezzlement, saying a lower court's decision wrongly conflated reasons for him to be aware of the crimes with actual knowledge.
