US Asks 5th Circ. To Uphold IRS Levy On Atty's $1.2M Tax Bill
The U.S. Tax Court did no wrong in saying an Internal Revenue Service settlement officer was within her rights to sustain a levy without accepting a lawyer's proposed collection alternative on his $1.2 million tax liability, the agency told the Fifth Circuit Tuesday.
