Justices Won't Review Invalidation Of Ky. Utility Tax Law
The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to disturb a Sixth Circuit decision that found a Kentucky law unconstitutionally discriminates against out-of-state coal producers by requiring utility regulators to discount the state's severance tax on coal when evaluating the reasonableness of electricity rates.
