The Ninth Circuit has declined to reconsider a former casino worker's request to make the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission Indians arbitrate over its decision to revoke his gaming license, leaving in place its decision that he couldn't sue under a tribal-state compact.

The Ninth Circuit ruled Monday that tribal sovereignty blocks an arbitration bid from a former table games dealer who says he was fired from the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission Indians' casino in retaliation for acting as an informant in a criminal investigation.
