The Seventh Circuit on Wednesday rebuffed Wheaton College's bid to block the Affordable Care Act's mandate to provide contraception coverage for its students and employees, ruling the law doesn't actually require the school to pay for coverage of emergency contraceptives.

Wheaton College on Wednesday urged the Seventh Circuit to free it from the Affordable Care Act's mandate to provide contraception coverage for its students and employees, arguing that it shouldn't be treated differently than churches and other religious institutions that have received a blanket exemption from the mandate.
