A split Eleventh Circuit panel ruled Wednesday that a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission subpoena seeking nationwide data from a car parts manufacturer was too expansive, despite a dissent that said the majority was improperly curtailing the broad authority afforded the EEOC by the nation's highest court.
