A Connecticut federal judge has trounced an attempt by Chinese exile and alleged criminal fraudster Ho Wan Kwok to use the U.S. Constitution to avoid documenting his assets for a Chapter 11 bankruptcy trustee, ruling that since no final punishment has been ordered, the issue is not ripe for review.

A Connecticut bankruptcy judge has approved a Chapter 11 trustee's settlement with a law firm that previously represented Chinese exile Ho Wan Kwok in a malpractice suit against Clark Hill PLC and one of its immigration lawyers, agreeing to split the $100,000 retainer in half between the estate and Casper Firm LLC.

A Connecticut bankruptcy court judge has cast aside attempts to keep Chinese exile Ho Wan Kwok's Chapter 11 trustee from accessing a $37 million escrow fund formerly held by U.S. Bank, saying that while the trustee's arguments were not entirely persuasive, the trustee should be able to access the money regardless as a matter of law.
