A dispute between Spirit Airlines and a union over the airline's decision to move employees to a new operations center is "minor" under the Railway Labor Act, so a Florida district court lacked jurisdiction over the issue, an Eleventh Circuit panel unanimously ruled Wednesday.

A flight controller union told an Eleventh Circuit panel Wednesday that a lower court wrongly dismissed its suit opposing Spirit Airlines' attempt to move employees to a new operations center, saying no provision in their collective bargaining agreement gives it the right to "unilaterally" do that.
