Two sizable defamation lawsuits filed by Masters winner and current LIV golfer Patrick Reed were dismissed by a federal judge in Florida Wednesday, handing Reed a temporary defeat in a battle between him and commentators, publishers and news outlets that had criticized the defection of him and other golfers to the Saudi-backed LIV tour.
