A New York federal judge has ruled fintech company Current cannot arbitrate its former lead recruiter's claims that the company fostered a discriminatory work culture, saying that because her suit includes plausible sexual harassment claims, any pre-dispute arbitration agreement is unenforceable.

The former lead recruiter for a fintech company that provides mobile banking services has accused the company of fostering a discriminatory work culture, saying in a lawsuit filed Thursday that she faced "dozens if not hundreds" of remarks "openly disparaging" her sex, race and age from an executive.
