    The Eleventh Circuit refused Wednesday to reinstate a Black former Georgia police officer's lawsuit claiming she was fired because of racial bias, saying she lacked proof that prejudice factored into her termination following an investigation showing she had crashed her car after drinking and then reported it stolen.

    Ex-Cop Asks 11th Circ. To Revive 'Loser' Race Bias Case

    Former Georgia police officer Nicole Reeves asked the Eleventh Circuit to revive her race bias case against the Columbus Consolidated Government, her former employer, which a Georgia federal judge previously tossed as a "loser" lawsuit that came "close to the line" for sanctions.
