A wind turbine manufacturer has agreed to pay $125,000 to resolve a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission suit alleging a Black employee was regularly called racial slurs at work and threatened with violence.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued a wind turbine manufacturer in North Dakota federal court Thursday, alleging the company allowed racist taunting and death threats against a Black worker to go unchecked and then fired him for complaining about it.
