Law360, New York ( April 12, 2013, 12:57 PM EDT) -- Paul Wolfson is a partner in WilmerHale's litigation/controversy department in Washington, D.C., and a vice chairman of the appellate and U.S. Supreme Court litigation practice group. His practice focuses on Supreme Court and appellate litigation, and on advising clients on complex issues of federal law. He has argued 21 cases in the US Supreme Court and has argued before seven federal courts of appeals. Before joining the firm, Wolfson worked for eight years in the solicitor general's office, where he received the attorney general's distinguished service award for "exemplary representation of the U.S. before the Supreme Court." He is active in the American Bar Association's Individual Rights and Responsibilities Section, and served as a member of an ABA Presidential Task Force on Federal Pleading Standards, examining the effect of the Twombly and Iqbal decisions....
