By Karlee Weinmann ( May 2, 2013, 12:35 PM EDT) -- Buzzed-about negotiations between Lenovo Group Ltd. and IBM Corp. have collapsed after the two could not agree on a valuation for an IBM server unit, according to a Thursday report from the Wall Street Journal. The IT giants had been in talks for the past few weeks, discussing Lenovo's potential takeover of a piece of IBM's x86 server division, which sells low-priced servers meant to support sprawling data hubs at corporations. Previous estimates had pegged the deal's value at between $5 billion and $6 billion, but a souce told the newspaper that Lenovo was prepared to offer just $2.5 billion....
