By Kaitlin Ugolik ( May 16, 2014, 6:34 PM EDT) -- New York Judge Johnny Lee Baynes reportedly threw a wrench into Long Island College Hospital proceedings Thursday, directing the warring parties to negotiate together for the future of the ailing Brooklyn hospital. Judge Baynes told the State University of New York, a coalition of concerned nurses and doctors, and several prospective bidders in court that they should get together Thursday evening and "come up with something that provides for continuation of health care so the place will not close" as it is set to do next week, Capital New York reported. It wasn't clear late Friday whether any such deal had been reached, but Capital noted that the directive seemed to fly in the face of an earlier settlement that laid out a structured bidding process....
