By Karlee Weinmann ( May 30, 2014, 4:56 PM EDT) -- Telecom Italia SpA is at odds with its largest shareholder, Telefonica SA, over the future of the Italian company's $13 billion Brazilian telecom business, sources told Bloomberg on Friday. Telecom Italia wants to keep its majority-owned Tim Brasil subsidiary intact, and has plans to expand the unit through a merger down the road with Vivendi SA's Brazilian offshoot. On the other hand, Telefonica has joined forces with another Brazilian mobile carrier, Oi SA, to explore a plan that would break up the sought-after Tim Brasil. Telefonica already has flex in the Brazilian marketplace, where it controls Vivo, a leading wireless provider....
