By Chelsea Naso ( June 27, 2014, 2:47 PM EDT) -- Investcorp halted talks to buy a 60 percent stake in Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli, after the Gulf investment firm was unwilling to pay the roughly €450 million ($612 million) price tag, sources told Reuters on Friday. The 73-year-old designer is said to have been hoping to receive an offer by the June 30 deadline, but the Bahrain-based firm walked away from the negotiation table. The price for the portion of the company was based on a multiple of 18 times earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization, the report said. ...
