One of his highest profile wins was for Paice LLC. Following three federal district court cases, two Federal Circuit appeals, and an ITC Investigation against Toyota over hybrid electric vehicles patents, a confidential settlement favorable to Paice was brokered in 2010. Davis also was co-lead on behalf of Honda Motor Co., successfully defending a 15-patent case related to vehicle telematics.
