LP is said to have lured in a dozen debt experts from Rialto Capital Management, with plans to launch a new property debt investment operation, according to a Wall Street Journal report, which cited unnamed sources. The team, which will be led by Matt Salem, will be tasked with investing some of KKR's balance sheet funds in a variety of debt vehicles, including preferred equity and mezzanine, the WSJ report said....
