Law360, New York ( March 14, 2016, 10:49 AM EDT) -- On Dec. 9, 2015, Major League Soccer announced that it will invest $37 million in player compensation during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. MLS will contribute the funds on top of an annual salary budget (approximately $3.6 million per club in 2016) and is applying the funds to impact certain roster areas. Specifically, clubs will receive $800,000 of targeted allocation money (TAM) per season and $125,000 in additional homegrown player funds per season....
