Law360, New York ( May 11, 2016, 12:00 PM EDT) -- In June 2015, the much-discussed Antitrust Whistleblower Rewards Program was officially introduced to Taiwan competition law. By incorporating the new amendment — Article 47-1 — into the Taiwan Fair Trade Act , a whistleblower that provides the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission with high-qualify and sensitive information relating to an antitrust violation or cartel agreement is now entitled to obtain a "finder's fee," provided that he or she meets certain criteria. Offering bounties to an antitrust whistleblower undoubtedly suggests that the commission intend to become a more aggressive antitrust enforcer....
