Deals Rumor Mill: SingTel, Bayer, Bosch

By Matthew Perlman ( May 12, 2016, 6:56 PM EDT) -- Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. is exploring an initial public offering for its high-speed broadband unit NetLink Trust that could snag at least $2 billion, according to a Wall Street Journal report Wednesday. SingTel currently enjoys full ownership of NetLink, which provides internet service to residential and nonresidential customers in Singapore, and an IPO could see that stake reduced by up to 74 percent, the report said. The company is currently discussing the potential deal with investment banks, the report noted, and could initiate the float as soon as next year....
