By Benjamin Horney ( July 7, 2016, 6:22 PM EDT) -- Aetna Inc. will meet with top officials at the U.S. Justice Department on Friday as the health care giant tries to persuade the regulator to allow its proposed $37 billion purchase of Humana Inc., according to a Thursday report from Bloomberg. According to the report, Aetna will meet with some of the top antitrust officials at the DOJ, including Bill Baer, who is the third-ranking official at the regulator. The meeting comes after reports earlier this week said Aetna was planning to sell a potentially $1 billion portfolio of Medicare Advantage assets in order to help ease antitrust concerns....
